A young and fresh Badacsony Riesling from volcanic soil. Typical smell with primery Riesling aromas with a lot of citrus. Outstanding cleannes and elegance. The lovely Riesling experience continues in the taste. Fruity and mineralic notes, nice complexity. Fresh, elegant and thick in the same time. 2022 was a really warm and sunny vintage around lake Balaton. Therefore we have this rich and ripened style at 2022 wines. The grapevines are about 45 years old. All of our vineyards are first class vineyards in Badacsony historical wineregion. They are south faced, very steep and stoney vineyards directly above lake Balaton. Main soiltype is the volcanic stone – basalt, and “pannonian sand”.Harvest time: mid October. Strict selection of non-botrityzed bunches. Only hand picked grapes. Very gentle, full cluster pressing. Long fermentation (about 3-4 month). Fermenting and aging only in steel tanks in order to preserve the nicest and elegant, but rather volnurable Riesling aromas. This wine has a long aging potential due to the combination of volcanic terroir and Riesling variety.
