Carlo 2023 is a distinctive white wine crafted from Cabernet Franc grapes, offering vibrant aromas of gooseberry and green apple. With a full body that remains refreshing, its crisp acidity is beautifully balanced by a subtle creaminess, making it both lively and elegant.
The grapes were harvested at optimal ripeness on September 16th, destemmed, and gently pressed to yield a clear white juice. Spontaneous fermentation in stainless steel lasted three weeks, followed by seven months of aging in used French barriques, during which malolactic fermentation occurred naturally.
Unfined and unfiltered, Carlo 2023 is sealed with an innovative, fully compostable sugarcane-based closure that prevents cork taint and has a climate-positive carbon footprint. A refreshing and sustainable choice!
