Founded in 2003 by the Barta family, Barta Winery restored the historic Öreg Király vineyard in Tokaj, a royal estate since 1280. With steep, terraced plots and exceptional soil, the 10-hectare vineyard, along with the nearby Kővágó parcel, produces premium wines using organic practices.
Housed in the renovated Rákóczi-Aspremont chateau, the winery crafts Furmint, Hárslevelű, Yellow Muscat, and Kövérszőlő wines that reflect the unique terroir. Visitors can enjoy vineyard tours, tastings, and stays at the estate. Signature wines, including Tokaji Aszú and Furmint Brut, showcase a perfect blend of tradition and innovation.
